Roar (bigroar.org) is a resident-evaluation platform used by a medical residency program. This policy describes what information Roar collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, institutional email address, and role in the program, entered by program staff or by you.
• Mobile phone number (optional): provided by you or, at your request, by program staff, if you choose to receive text messages.
• Platform records: evaluations and related activity created in the course of the program's educational work.

How we use your information

• To operate the platform: sign-in links and one-time sign-in codes, account notifications, and the program's evaluation workflows.
• We send no marketing or promotional messages of any kind.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you add a mobile number, Roar may text you one-time sign-in codes and short account notifications. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using Roar or of participation in the program.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

You can opt out of text messages at any time using the "Receive texts" setting in your Roar profile, or by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP or email support@bigroar.org for help.

Sharing

Roar does not sell personal information. Information is visible only to authorized members of the residency program under its access rules, and to the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf (email and SMS carriers), solely for that delivery.
